A man has died following a crash involving a car and a motorbike near Wick on Wednesday night.
The incident – which involved a grey Yamaha motorcycle and a red Renault Clio – took place on the B874 near Watten Cemetery at about 22:25.
The 18-year-old motorcyclist was taken to Caithness General Hospital, where he died a short time later. His next of kin have been informed.
The driver and passenger of the car were uninjured.
